Cleveland Cavaliers and basketball legend LeBron James suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of the Golden State Warriors by 132-98.
There was significant anticipation towards the build-up of the match, as it was a fight between last season’s champions (Warriors) and finalist.
The Warriors were coming off a loss to the Detroit Pistons, but the team showed no sign of morale breakdown.
It simply turned out to be a night to forget for LeBron James as the Warriors, led by NBA MVP Steph Curry, overcompensated and ran riot at the Q arena.
Their dominance proved too much for James at one point, with the superstar losing his composure in an off-the-ball tussle with Curry who ended up being grappled to the floor.
The Cavaliers trailed by a huge gap of 43 points after the fourth quarter, the largest point difference and defeat James had ever suffered in his long career.
