Neymar Jr. is convinced that FC Barcelona will be able to complete another comeback in the UEFA Champions League against Juventus midweek.
The Catalan team is due to overturn a 3-0 goal deficit against the Italian Champions — a smaller disadvantage compared to the one they had against Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16.
But, like against PSG, Neymar believe that Barca can repeat their comeback feat, turn the tie around to defeat Juventus and reach the Champions League semi-finals.
“My Dad made a good point the other day which got me thinking,” Neymar said. “We might have a different side in front of us this time, but Barcelona is the same. And we can do it. We did it once and we can do it a second time.”
“I believe in the team and I believe in our potential. It’s looking like a lost cause, but that means we have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We have to enter the game determined to win and do our job.”
“If everything goes well, another comeback will happen, I believe in the team and in our potential. Everything is lost, so we have nothing to lose and everything to win.”
“Juventus are a great team, very well structured, so it will be difficult to have to turn the tie. (But) It is the same as the situation against PSG. We have a one percent chance of qualifying and the remaining 99 per cent is work, faith and, god willing, goals. They are going to arrive.”
